South Korea
English-taught degrees exist, but the portals, documents and D-2 visa are their own system. Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore use the same after-offer discipline with different forms.

01
The system
Many applications go through jinhakapply or a university portal. English-taught programmes still want a clean document file: transcript, apostille or notarisation, language proof and a personal statement that fits that school.
02
Tests and writing
IELTS or TOEFL is common. Some programmes want SAT, a portfolio or an interview. Deadlines cluster, so the document list has to be finished before the portal opens, not the night before.
03
Money
Tuition is often lower than families guess. Scholarships are real but competitive. We put living cost and the first housing deposit in the plan with the fee.
04
After the offer
D-2 student visa, housing, insurance and how you get there. Alien registration comes after landing. We do not drop the file when the offer email arrives.
