Studielink

Netherlands

English-taught bachelor's degrees are common here. The bottleneck is the portal, Numerus Fixus, and housing once the offer arrives.

    The system

Applications go through Studielink, then often a university form. Numerus Fixus programmes select early, usually with a mid-January deadline. Liberal arts university colleges have their own essays and interviews.

  2. 02

    Tests and writing

Many programmes want IELTS or TOEFL. Some ask for a maths test, a portfolio or a matching procedure. We build the test plan backwards from the deadline so you sit each exam once.

    Money

EU students often pay the statutory fee. Non-EU fees are higher. Scholarships exist but they are narrow. Housing cost belongs in the first budget, not after you arrive.

    After the offer

Accept the place, arrange residence or visa papers if you need them, insurance, and a room from sources that are not scams. Registration in the city comes next. We stay reachable after term starts.
